Who we are
Princeps Digital is a trading name of Julian Ikeme, based in the United Kingdom. We are the "controller" of the personal data described here, which means we decide how it is used. Contact: letstalk@princepsdigital.com.
What we collect
When you book a pipeline review
- Your name, work email address and organisation
- Anything else you choose to tell us: your role, type of provider, next intake date, roughly how many enquiries you get each month and any notes
- The time you choose and your time zone
When you browse the site
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
When you email us
Your email address and whatever you include in your message.
How we use it and why we're allowed to
| What we do | Lawful basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Book, hold, reschedule or cancel your call and send the calendar invite | Steps you ask us to take before any contract |
| Prepare for the call and follow up afterwards about our services | Our legitimate interests in responding to an enquiry you started |
| Keep the website secure and working | Our legitimate interests |
| Keep records if we go on to work together | Performing a contract and legal obligations (such as tax records) |
We won't add you to a mailing list or send marketing emails unless you've asked us to. If we ever do, every email will include a way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service, who process data on our behalf:
- Netlify: hosts this website and runs the booking system
- Google: Google Calendar and Google Meet, used to hold your booking and host the video call; Google Fonts, used to display the site's typeface
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
We may also share data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Booking details are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted, unless we go on to work together, in which case we keep business records for as long as the law requires (usually six years).
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- see the personal data we hold about you
- correct it if it's wrong
- delete it
- stop or restrict using it, or object to how we use it
- send it to you or someone else in a usable format
Email letstalk@princepsdigital.com. We'll reply within one month. There's no charge.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), booking links are individually signed so they can't be guessed and access to our calendar and accounts is protected.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
